Elizabeth Gelman has the honor of being the Executive Director of The Florida Holocaust Museum (The FHM). Prior to arriving in the Tampa Bay area, she held leadership positions in several Chicago nonprofits including The Children’s Museum in Oak Lawn, and Terra Museum of American Art. Elizabeth’s focus at The FHM has been on creating and maintaining a compelling vision for the Museum and enhancing the Museum’s relevancy and reach throughout the State of Florida. Elizabeth received her MS in Written Communication and Certificate in Corporate Written Communication from National Louis University, a BS in Speech and Communication from Northwestern University, and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from the College of DuPage. A published author and playwright, she is married to composer Tom Sivak and the mother of two exceptionally talented and beautiful daughters.
