‘Catalyst Sessions’ recap: Craig Pittman

St. Pete scribe Craig Pittman caught us up Tuesday on The Catalyst Sessions; the award-winning author, environmental reporter and hilariously funny observer of all things Florida last appeared on the third-ever installment of our interview program, on March 27.

Plenty has changed since then – Pittman is writing a weekly column for the Florida Phoenix and has started his own Florida-centric podcast – but COVID-19 is still the above-the-fold headline, as it was back in March, usurping nearly everything else.

Pittman, author of the bestselling Oh, Florida, remains committed to chronicling and cataloguing everything bizarre that happens in his home state.

Pandemic or no pandemic, weirdness never sleeps.

Pittman also discusses his next book, to be titled The State You’re In: Florida Men, Florida Women and Other Wildlife.

Something different today on The Catalyst Sessions: Grammy-winning Hall of Fame songwriter Rodney Crowell helps us celebrate our 75th show, from his Tennessee home.

Streaming at 7 p.m. weekdays on the Catalyst Facebook page. All episodes are archived on our YouTube channel.
