Celebration at the Vinoy Honors Local Entrepreneurs

ST PETERSBURG, FL – Every year LocalShops1 celebrates its birthday by honoring the Tampa Bay community leaders, business owners and local activists who make Tampa Bay a better place.

This year’s celebration takes place 4-7 pm Sunday September 8, 2019, at Marchand’s Bar & Grille at the Vinoy Resort, downtown St. Petersburg. The event features keynote speaker St Petersburg Deputy Mayor Dr. Kanika Tomalin, and is emceed by Carolina Leid, journalist with 10 News. Other speakers include successful St. Petersburg business owners Ray Lampe, Dr. BBQ Restaurant in the Warehouse District; Desiree Noisette, Mermosa on Beach Drive downtown; and Marion Mitchell, Marion’s on Fourth St N.

The celebration is LocalShops1’s 11th anniversary, and this year’s awards recipients are all long-standing businesses, thriving for the past 15 years (or longer!) Here is the list of this year’s awards recipients:
