Creative Pinellas, Leadership St. Pete issue a Call to Mural Artists

A Call to Artists has gone out from Creative Pinellas to a mural to be painted on low walls outside WestCare’s Mustard Seed Inn, in the Grand Central District. In partnership with Leadership St. Pete’s Class of 2021 and the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg, the organization is offering $2,000 for an original work combining the themes “Seeds of Hope” and “You Good?”

The nonprofit Mustard Seed Inn provides transitional housing to homeless adults who have begun their recovery from alcohol, drug abuse, and/or mental illness. The organization is the focus of this year’s Leadership St. Pete class project, “Seeds of Hope,” consisting of civic engagement and physical facility improvement.

The You Good? behavioral health campaign, co-sponsored by the Pinellas Wellness Connection, spreads the message of availability of and access to support, resources, and assistance for people dealing with mental health, behavioral health, and substance abuse issues.
