Pinellas County adds 11 Covid deaths as cases, hospitalizations climb

The Florida Department of Health has reported 11 additional deaths attributed to Covid-19 in Pinellas County.

The county’s death toll from the virus now stands at 849 people since the outbreak began in March.

That nasty Eta put the kibosh on any Wednesday work for the SHINE Mural Festival artists – they were told by the sponsoring St. Petersburg Arts Alliance to stay away from their half-completed walls while the rainy wind, windy rain and tornado warning blew through.

Assuming there’s an Eta-free “go” signal today, the muralists should be back out in force, as the designated finishing line (festival's end) is Saturday.
