Approximately 150 people packed the Board of Pinellas County Commission’s Clearwater meeting room and its outer chamber Thursday, in support of the umbrella arts organization Creative Pinellas. Artists, educators, former lawmakers, gallery directors, business owners and art aficionados – each limited to two minutes at the podium – spoke about the positive impact Creative Pinellas has had on the community-at-large.
