Grand Central Brewhouse signs restaurant tenant

Grand Central Brewhouse, a microbrewery and beer garden under construction on Central Avenue, has signed a restaurant tenant.

LaLa Karaoke Box, a restaurant concept featuring high-end pub food with a French twist, will occupy the east side of the structure at 2324 Central Ave., said Kevin Milkey, Grand Central Brewhouse owner.

Masks for Medical Workers in Tampa Bay – essentially a lose aggregation of self-isolating folks with sewing machines and time on their hands – have already created and donated 5,000 masks to the local health care industry, and the machines haven’t stopped whirring.

St. Pete roofing company grows footprint after sale

Merger and acquisition transactions have slowed, but not stopped, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

United Roofing & Construction Services Inc., a roofing company in St. Petersburg, sold April 1 to Dynamic Roofing LLC in Denver, said Hank Riner, an M&A advisor with Aberdeen Advisors. The St. Petersburg-based M&A advisory firm represented United Roofing in the deal.
