MADIC Group holds ribbon cutting for U.S. headquarters

After more than 50 years in the European market, a French energy technology company has opened its North American headquarters at St. Petersburg-based incubator spARK Labs by ARK Invest.

MADIC Group leaders came together Thursday for a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the occasion.

Thousands expected for Monday’s MLK Parade

Monday, Jan. 19 is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national holiday, and for the 39th consecutive year St. Petersburg’s celebratory parade will be one of the largest in the nation.

Thousands turn out to cheer floats, marching bands, service organizations and local icons of culture and government.
