St. Pete’s newly-renovated Obama library opens

A new chapter in St. Petersburg education began Saturday, as the President Barack Obama Main Library, closed since 2020, was re-opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Hundreds of residents streamed into the 61-year-old facility on 9th Avenue N., for first-look rights to the City’s $17 million renovation.
