Transit agency to link downtown St. Pete to Tampa airport

The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority has a long roster of new connections to come online within the next several years, including a key connection from downtown St. Petersburg to the Tampa International Airport. 

The Tampa Bay Regional Transit Authority is scheduled to discuss unfunded future bus routes Friday, many of which are connections through the Hillsborough and Pinellas bus agencies. The routes are part of the long-term Envision 2030 plan, which was created to identify ways to better connect Tampa Bay communities and populated areas.

Celebrity, of one sort or another, is a hallmark of the Wilson clan. Patriarch John was the evening news anchor at Fox 13 for three decades. Mark, his middle son, has been the station’s anchor since 2005; Mark’s older brother Mark owns Tampa Bay’s successful advertising, marketing and public relations firm Wilson Media. Paul is also a film and TV actor.
