St. Pete is changing. Remember what our city looked like 10 years ago? Imagine what it might look like 10 years from now. Driverless cars will change the way we get to work, make big purchases, spend time with family and build houses, offices and retail space. New technology and demographic shifts will contribute to our changing world.
Join us on May 23 at the next Sunny Side Up event when we’ll visit with public and private leaders from across the State to talk about the future of automated vehicles, how they will shape the way we live and how we build, plan and pay for our city in the future.
7:30-8 a.m. Networking breakfast
8-9 a.m. Presentation and Q&A
The Sunny Side Up Speakers Series is a partnership between the Downtown Partnership and the Kate Tiedemann College of Business at USFSP. Recognizing that successful communities embrace change and plan effectively for the future, the goal of the series is to introduce our community to futurists and thought leaders who can help us think holistically and strategically about where we are headed. We’d like to create some shared understanding about this for planning / investment purposes for public and private sectors. Previous speakers have talked about technology changes and infrastructure for Smart Cities, new healthcare technology, robots, AI and workforce needs for the next 20 years.
