Featuring:
The "Sustain-A-Bowl" Food Truck is a first-of-its-kind. It aims to bridge the gaps between food waste and food insecurity here in Tampa Bay by turning good excess food that would otherwise go to waste into nutritious, chef-prepared meals that nourish our neighbors in need.
Fighting Food Waste
100% of the Food Truck's ingredients are sourced from our local food partners. Our partners include grocery stores, food distributors, restaurants, and local farms that have a surplus of good food to share. Rather than throwing it away, their extra food is donated to 360 Eats to turn into delicious meals for the community to enjoy. Any food scraps leftover from the cooking process are turned into compost to grow more food. Plans are also underway to turn our food scraps into biogas, which can then fuel the Food Truck's onboard cooking facilities!
Feeding Our Community
With the Food Truck's mobility and onboard kitchen, high-quality meals can be conveniently served to communities in need. 360 Eats aims to serve up to 2,500 individuals each month with the Sustain-A-Bowl Food Truck.
