Linoleum Relief—Henri Matisse & Pablo Picasso used linoleum in the early 1900. It became popular in 20th century German Expressionist & Russian Constructivist art movements.
Images are cut on linoleum. The surface is inked, paper placed on top & printed either by rubbing manually or on a printing press.
Exhibition—Workshop artists will have the option to prepare prints for exhibition for an opening reception and opportunity to sell artworks. Invited are friends, families, & general artist community at the FACTORY, St.Pete—October 2024.
Workshop is fun, educational, & very productive! All that is needed is a creative spirit, the desire to learn new techniques, & the willingness to collaborate alongside other artists. Printmaking experience is not essential.
