“Beauty from the Broken: A Journey Through Mosaics,” is a solo exhibition opening Friday, October 2, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in St. Petersburg. Donna's work is inspired by the natural world, particularly birds and the beauty of the Gulf Coast, as well as Judaica, social justice and the patterns, colors and textures she discovers in everyday objects. The process of creating mosaics is itself part of the story: broken fragments are rearranged and brought to life to create beauty from the broken.
