Gulfport’s First Friday Art Walk returns to Beach Boulevard on Friday, April 2 from 5pm-9pm with a themed celebration of the rich and diverse plein air painting community in the region at ‘In Plein Sight,’ the third quarterly themed art walk since the signature event’s return last October. Nearly 20 plein air painters will join artists from across several other mediums in this outdoor celebration of creativity and community. The event runs takes place alongside the shops, restaurants, coffee shops and galleries that comprise the town’s cultural hub on Beach Boulevard and is hosted by the Gulfport Merchants Chamber.

Upon its return in October, the First Friday Art Walk brought a creative redesign and socially distanced format, providing artists and visitors an open, outdoor space to celebrate art and community each month as well as the introduction of quarterly themed events.‘In Plein Sight' welcomes emerging and professional plein air painters from across the region and state to show and sell their work in this scenic arts-loving community, as well as the opportunity to win cash prizes and other considerations.
