In the U.S. alone, the LGBTQ+ community represents $917 billion in annual buying power. That makes inclusivity a win-win for both consumers and businesses. In St. Pete, the LGBTQ+ community is a treasured thread in the fabric of our local culture. In building on our core value of inclusivity, our Chamber is excited to collaborate with Metro Inclusive Health to offer a capacity-building, DE&I training to our staff, board, and membership.
Over the course of 90 minutes, the following objectives will be explored:
Metro’s LGBTQ+ Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Trainings have been proven to promote inclusive practices among staff and foster a culture of overall excellence. Metro has helped improve cultural competency for a wide range of participating organizations, from churches to restaurants to major financial institutions.
As business and community leaders, it is vital that we continue to seek opportunities for growth to ensure equitable economic development.
