A panel of local organizers and advocates share the info, influence, and inspiration surrounding local elections and talk us through organizing for change and the power we have to shape our community. Because honestly, local elections are the underdog of voting and we need to do better.
About the speakers:
Caitlin Constantine is a journalist, editor and voting rights advocate who has lived in Pinellas County for 20 years. She serves as the Voter Services co-chair and the Voter and Election Protection co-chair for the League of Women Voters in the St. Petersburg Area, in addition to being one of the co-leads for the national nonpartisan Election Protection coalition in Pinellas County.
Arielle Mizrahi is a Field Organizer for Florida PIRG Students. She recruits, organizes, and trains college students across the state to run successful campaigns to increase voter turnout, ban single single-use plastics, alleviate hunger and homelessness and more.
Harold Bryant Jr. is a dedicated community activist who is passionate about the political process. He has 15 years of experience in program and event management, plus expertise in political campaign marketing and logistics. He's currently working with 8 Kingz Collective and Impact Clarity to address racial disparities and equity across St. Pete.
