The James Museum is thrilled to announce the return of Menagerie at the Museum on Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. After a sold-out event in 2023, this exciting family-friendly event is back for a second year, promising a day of wildlife encounters, educational experiences and artistic exploration.
Event Highlights:
- Live Animal Encounters: Engage with live animals indoors from Tampa Bay's beloved animal rescue and wildlife conservation organizations. This is a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with a variety of species.
- Wildlife Gallery Exploration: Discover creatures from around the world in The James Museum's Wildlife Gallery, with interactive stations and artistic insights by James Museum docents.
- Kid-Approved Activities: Enjoy a range of activities designed for children, including artmaking in The James Museum’s classrooms, animal-inspired face-painting by Glitter & Giggles, temporary tattoos designed by James Museum staff member and local tattoo artist Harley Babst and more. These activities ensure a fun-filled day for our youngest guests.
- Access to Entire Museum Collection: Attendees can explore the full collection of The James Museum, offering a comprehensive cultural and artistic experience that extends beyond the wildlife-themed activities.
