Bring your little artists downtown for an afternoon of creative, educational hands-on arts and crafts projects at the Museum of Fine Arts! The event will include 10 fun and engaging art stations for kids to create their own make-and-take masterpieces inspired by the MFA Collection, including chalk art along Bayshore Drive inspired by Mary Proctor’s “Street Pave in Gold”; an archaeology dig inspired by the MFA’s antiquities galleries; a pop-up poppy field inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s “Poppy”; and so much more!

Participants will receive a Painting In The Park Passport to help guide them to each activity station and will earn a stamp for their passport as they complete each activity. Once they’ve completed their passport, they’ll receive a prize. Budding artists can also work together painting the NOMAD (Neighborhood Oriented Mobile Art and Design) Art Bus. Activities are for toddlers, tweens, and in-betweens, and adults are welcomed to join in on the fun, too!

Beverages and food trucks will be available. Please join us for this annual FREE event for kids of all ages and the opportunity for families to experience the MFA in a different way!

FREE for everyone!
