Local 501(c)3 charity The Friends of Jack Kerouac have partnered with Green Light Cinema (221 2nd Ave N) to bring an officially licensed film adaptation of Kerouac’s On the Road to the screen. Celebrate a literary icon here in St. Petersburg where he lived and wrote on the 100th anniversary of his birth! Screenings are this Saturday, March 12th at 7PM and Sunday, March 13th at 2PM.

This event is part of the larger celebration of the Kerouac Centennial happening throughout town. Friends of Jack Kerouac are hosting several events as part of a month long celebration of the famed "King of the Beat Generation."
