St. Petersburg Regional Skatepark Celebrates 8-Year Anniversary with Community Event

St. Petersburg, FL – April 18, 2026 – The St. Petersburg Regional Skatepark will celebrate its 8-Year Anniversary on Saturday, April 18, 2026, with a free, all-ages community event featuring skateboarding, music, food, and local vendors.

Taking place from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM, the event will bring together skateboarders, families, and supporters from across the Tampa Bay area to honor one of Florida’s premier public skateparks and the vibrant culture surrounding it.

The celebration will include:

• Open and sponsored Best Trick contests
• High Ollie and Long Ollie competitions
• An Open Bowl Jam
• Live music and DJs
• Food trucks and local vendors
• Product giveaways and community activations

This free event is open to participants and spectators of all ages and skill levels, reinforcing the skatepark’s role as a hub for creativity, inclusivity, and community engagement.

The event is made possible through partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community leaders dedicated to supporting skateboarding and youth culture in St. Petersburg.
