Dr. Peter Betzer, Founding Dean Emeritus of the College of Marine Science at University of South Florida (USF), will discuss why he created the marine science program at USF. He will focus on why the program was needed at the time it was created and the importance today of having this academic program in our own back yard. This free seminar will be held at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, March 20 at 6 PM.
