“Transforming the Beautiful Game: The Clyde Best Story” documentary featuring former Tampa Bay Rowdies star and 1975 NASL Champion Clyde Best is coming to The Palladium Theater on May 7-9 for its U.S. premiere. This acclaimed documentary covers Best’s rise from 17-year-old Bermudian at West Ham as the first black superstar of the modern TV era in England to his years with the Tampa Bay Rowdies including the NASL Soccer Bowl ’75 championship.
The movie includes a panel discussion and Q&A after the film featuring Clyde Best and other former Tampa Bay Rowdies and international soccer stars.
