Grow Smarter continues to drive momentum for St. Pete [Audio]
A surprisingly large number of your fellow business people are working on the Grow Smarter initiative. Six work groups with more than 100 active participants meet quarterly to seed the projects that smaller sub-committees take on. Chamber CEO Chris Steinocher praised the strong collaboration: “I see the biggest wins being from our partners like the city administration,” he said, “focusing investments and energy towards the program … from the awareness building marketing investments to the database of available real estate … to partners like USFSP School of Business supporting our Data Analytics and Entrepreneurial efforts.”
In the middle of it all is Executive Chairman Ryan Griffin. “Great cities require great caretakers,” Steinocher said, “and Ryan is one of those – he’s invested his own resources into this city, and now he’s utilizing his time and passion to engage others to ensure we have a diversity of creators for our city.”
Griffin stopped by the Catalyst studio with the earliest and the latest on Grow Smarter. Click the arrow below to listen.

Hello! I was trying to find a link to the working groups Ryan talked about. Can someone post them? I am interested in volunteering. Thanks!
