Hustle (job)

Owner, Curator, Assistant, Graphic Designer, Coordinator, Aesthetics, Social Media Promoter, Road Trip Management.

What do you do?

User friendly, vegan and organic - Bohem focuses on formulating plant based skin love for the everyday bohemian.

Why do you do it?

The feels. The feedback I receive from my customers is beyond words. Knowing that I can provide smiles, confidence and a healthy mind-body-soul flow that's easy and enjoyable is completely worth every second of what I do.

What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)

Bohem started on a trip to New Orleans in 2015, unbeknownst to me at the time. I found myself in a small apothecary off of a beaten path along the French Quarter and made my first essential oil blend to help with my anxiety. Fast forward to 2018 and Bohem has quickly become a go-to with St. Petersburg locals and continues to gain popularity on the East Coast and parts of the Midwest.

What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?

Many people are surprised to find out that I am a one-woman show. I curate all of my products in small batches, as well as design all of my all of my logos and packaging.

What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?

Time managment. As Bohem grows, it's becoming more difficult to find enough hours in the day! I eat, sleep and breathe my work but I wouldn't change a thing.

What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?

Stay true to yourself. The American dream is real and achieved by believing in yourself, staying authentic and taking the high road - the rest will follow.
