What do you do?
I run a company that does tours on a big, silly, Dutch-made bike. I do it all - marketing, HR, accounting, insurance, licensing, etc.
Why do you do it?
I love business, period - this one in particular, of course. I was a business professor at a community college for 13 years. My brain always thinks business. It's the filter through which I view the world.
What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)
It's a long story, but it stemmed from an email that I received when I was in a beer brewing club.
What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?
That we sell alcohol or require alcohol consumption.
What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?
Right now, getting customers to come out and rent us again.
What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?
You must gather enough information. Also, 80 percent of business questions point to the answer.
