The Hustle

Name: Harry Sauers

Posted By Gina Marks

Harry Sauers has always been fascinated by computers. Growing up with a father working in software development and IT, he followed in these footsteps from a young age. He now puts his passions to good use, working in his spare time as a tech consultant. He continues to develop these skills through education, currently majoring in Computer Science. With experience of his own in small business development, Sauers works to help others realize their goals through technology. When he's not consulting or studying, you can find him working on his own coding and computer projects, reading or playing his trumpet.

Hustle (job)

What do you do?

Software development for small to medium-size businesses.

Why do you do it?

I love technology and making things more efficient.

What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)

From my time as an intern at the St. Pete Chamber of Commerce, I realized there was a massive demand for competency in IT.

What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?

What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?

People who undercut on price but can't deliver on value.

What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?

“You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.” -Zig Ziglar Also, Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People."
