Owner & Strength Coach at Made Possible Personal Training in St. Petersburg
What do you do?
I co-own Made Possible Personal Training, where we help people build strength, confidence, and consistency through individualized exercise programs. We are not a traditional gym and we are not group fitness. Every client follows their own program in a semi-private setting, so they get the personalization of one-on-one training with the energy and support of a small coaching environment. A big part of our work is helping adults 40+ stay strong, independent, and active long term. We meet people where they are, whether they are just getting started or working to feel like themselves again.
Why do you do it?
I do this because there is nothing better than watching people believe in themselves again. Seeing someone gain confidence they have not had in years, feel better in their body, and want more for themselves and their life is incredibly rewarding. We get one chance here, and I believe strength and conditioning is a big part of what allows us to fully enjoy it. When people feel strong, capable and confident, they show up differently in every part of their life. Helping people experience that shift, and sharing it with as many people as possible, is why I do this.
What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)
It was personal before it was professional. I was never the standout athlete. I know what it feels like to sit on the bench, feel left out and question whether you really belong in those spaces. I wanted to create a space for people who felt more like I did, people who wanted to get stronger, feel better and push themselves, though did not identify as the expert athlete.
What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?
A lot of people assume personal training is only for people who are already in shape, or that every session needs to push you to your limit. That is not how we see it. The best training is appropriate training. For many of our clients, especially adults over 40, progress comes from doing the right things consistently, not the hardest things possible. Strength, balance, and confidence are built over time when the program actually fits the person.
What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?
The biggest challenge is growing without losing the level of personalization that makes the experience effective. As we grow, it is important that every client still feels seen, supported, and coached at a high level. That takes strong systems, a well-trained team, and a real commitment to consistency. We invest heavily in our personal trainers development and continuing education so we can keep delivering a high standard of training without losing what makes the experience personal.
What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?
Clarity beats everything. When you are clear on who you help, how you help them and what makes your approach different, decision-making gets easier. Marketing gets easier. Hiring gets easier. Day-to-day operations get easier. For us, that has meant fully committing to individualized training and leaning into our niche instead of trying to be everything to everyone.
Who is your ideal client?
Our ideal client is someone who values real coaching. We do more than guide workouts. We explain the why behind each movement, work through issues that may have been limiting someone for years, and think outside the box to help each person feel stronger and more capable.
