Hustle (job)

Jenny Gray and Thomas Musarra are the owners of Orange Belt Cafe.

What do you do?

We are a bakery/cafe offering fresh pastries and breakfast sandwiches, and at lunch we offer assorted hot and cold by deli style sandwiches along with desserts.

Why do you do it?

Because I love to cook and wanted to have a better life balance.

What was your Catalyst? (How did you get started?)

We were looking for a location and heard Bob Lee’s was looking for a new vendor for their cafe; we approached them with our concept and the rest is history! We love having our family business inside of another family business that is a St. Pete institution.

What’s a common misconception or unknown aspect of what you do?

That I roast my pork in-house for Tommy's famous Cuban!

What’s the most challenging part of your Hustle?

Gauging daily business levels for food prep.

What’s the most valuable piece of business advice/insight that’s helped you?

Never sacrifice the quality of your food!
