Turn your trash into a baby animal’s lifeline
According to SPCA Tampa Bay, “It’s baby season for many of our wildlife friends, and our Wildlife Rehabilitation Team is in need of some upcycled items to care for the influx of animals we see this time of year.” SPCA Tampa Bay uses bottle caps and jar lids to offer water and formula to the baby animals in its care. If you have these items on hand, give them a second life and donate them to the SPCA shelter in Largo, located at 9099 130th Ave N.

Help find Dolly a loving home
Three 13-week-old Australian Cattle Dog mixes recently came to Pet Pal Animal Shelter in St. Petersburg; two have been adopted, but one is still looking for a home. "It makes me sick that Dolly is in the shelter alone," a volunteer told the Catalyst. All of Pet Pal's adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. The adoption fee is $250 for dogs (unless stated otherwise). Visit Pel Pal Animal Shelter at 405 22nd St. S. to meet Dolly and apply to adopt her.
