Looking ahead: The month of November in the arts
With Tropicana Field’s opaque vinyl roof in shreds, there’s one fun-fun-fun November tradition that’s gone up in hurricane smoke: The annual appearance of Enchant Christmas, the billion-light walk-through “wonderland” and skating rink.
It’s not coming here this year, and thus far there’s been no indication the Enchant company is looking for a new venue in the bay area.
With that said, here’s a rundown of the best and the brightest in music, theater and comedy for November 2024.
There’s a solid cross-section of A-list performers, including Bonnie Raitt, the Avett Brothers, Daryl Hall, the Mavericks, Ben Folds, Amy Grant, Kacey Musgraves and Cyndi Lauper.
St. Pete-born comedian Ben Kreischer’s Hurricane Helene relief concert at Ruth Eckerd Hall, originally scheduled for October, was moved to Nov. 15 after Hurricane Milton doubled down.
As always, please remember that events will change. Some will get canceled or moved. New ones will be added. That’s why it’s always a good idea to keep checking the venue’s website, even after you’ve purchased your tickets.
At the bottom of this story you’ll find website links for all the venues mentioned.
