September 9, 2019 (Tampa, FL) – The Martinez Law team recently partnered with Doublemint Sitting, a referral babysitting and pet sitting service, to help complete murals over at the Tampa Bay Joshua House Foundation. The event raised approximately $5,000 for the abused, abandoned, and neglected children living in Joshua House.

Throughout the course of Doublemint Sitting’s “Paint with a Purpose” event, Martinez Law and volunteers from organizations such as Connective Human were able to complete five different themed murals for the boys’ wing of Joshua House. These murals include a sports, technology, ocean, automobile, and superhero themed rooms meant to create a fun, and welcoming environment for the children who have found a safe haven in Joshua House.

“We are strong believers that life just isn’t about you. We both grew up always giving to our community, so when we started our business, we knew that was something we wanted to continue,” said Gabriela Rosello, one of Doublemint Sitting’s co-founders. “We love organizing events to give back to the community and it makes our hearts so happy when we see everyone come together,” Synthia Fairman, Doublemint Sitting’s other co-founder expressed when asked about the event.
