Leadership St. Pete Class of 2019

Forty business and community leaders will start work in January as the 50th class of Leadership St. Pete gets underway.

Leadership St. Pete, a division of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce, was created to identify, recruit, and develop leaders who represent the diversity of the community and who will assume future leadership roles in the chamber and other community organizations.

The class was formally announced for the first time at the Leadership St. Pete Alumni Association holiday social on Dec. 5 at Imagine Museum, and kicked off with an orientation dinner at the The Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club on Dec. 11.

The class will formally launch with an opening retreat at Innisbrook Golf Resort Jan. 10-12, followed by 12 educational seminars and two additional leadership retreats.

The class will also take part in a civic engagement, physical facility improvement project.

This year’s patron sponsors are Collaborative Labs, Eckerd College, Duke Energy, Modern Business Associates, PNC Bank and Wallace Welch & Willingham.
