The Morean Arts Center brings the St. Pete community together through creative expression.
The Morean Arts Center aims to educate the community by allowing people to actually participate in the arts. Visitors can attend the Glass Studio & Hot Shop, where they have the opportunity to observe the glass-making process up front and in action. The arts center also offers classes and workshops, giving aspiring artists a space to explore their craft in different media and master their talents. Visitors can also experience the Morean Center for Clay, which offers classes from highly-experiences potters, studio space and gallery pieces. The Chihuly collection is the center’s more popular exhibit, displaying glass artist Dale Chihuly’s surreal and colorful pieces.
