Places This Week: 1925 Historic Kenwood property lists

An Historic Kenwood property with a main home and a detached garage apartment, at 127 23rd Street N., St. Petersburg, has listed for $1.1 million. Featured twice as part of Historic Kenwood’s BungalowFest, the home provides a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms across 1,270 heated square feet.

The home and apartment were built in 1925.

Situated on a 0.14-acre lot one block off of Central Avenue, the one-story craftsman-style main residence offers 946 square feet of living space. Included is a combination living and dining room with a wood burning fireplace, a kitchen with granite countertops and new appliances, a sitting room, indoor laundry facilities, and two bedrooms with an updated full bathroom.

The detached two-story structure offers a 432-square-foot two-car garage on the lower level and a 324-square-foot upper story apartment with a family room, eat-in kitchen, one-bedroom and one full bathroom. The seller, represented by Greg Gorman and David Burke with John R. Wood Properties, purchased the home in 2023 for $674,000.

Largo waterfront hospitality asset enters market

A short-term waterfront rental property situated on a 0.31-acre cul-de-sac point lot at 4124 Harbor Circle S., Largo recently entered the market for $2.5 million.

Built in 1959 and renovated in 2024 and 2026, the two-story structure, with 3,130 square feet of living space, features six bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Located in unincorporated Pinellas County, the property is exempt from short-term rental bans and minimum-night lease restrictions, and can legally accommodate up to 22 guests.

Attached to the building is a 511-square-foot garage. Outdoors is parking for four vehicles, a pool, two composite docks with power and water and 510 feet of Intracoastal waterfrontage. A private vessel docked onsite is also included with the sale.

Highlights include a two-year-old roof, a high-efficiency solar power grid, a newer HVAC system, indoor laundry facilities and full impact glass.

Belleair Bluffs estate sells for under $6 million

First introduced in March for $6 million, a 5,907-square-foot waterfront estate at 110 Harbor View Lane, Belleair Bluffs sold May 22 for $5.74 million. Built in 2018, the two-story residence, with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one half-bath, sits on an elevated 0.85-acre lot with 100 feet of Intracoastal waterfrontage.

Upon entering the main level is a grand foyer with 20-foot ceilings that leads into an expansive formal living and dining area with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows. The expansive chef’s kitchen features Wolf, Sub-Zero and Bosch appliances; onyx countertops; white cabinetry; and dual dishwashers.

The first floor primary suite offers a linear fireplace, dual walk-in closets and an ensuite bath with a glass enclosed shower, floating vanities and a soaking tub.

A double wood staircase leads to the upper level’s four bedrooms with high ceilings, custom moldings and walk in closets. Full laundry facilities are located on both floors.

Interior highlights include a private elevator, a recessed LED lighting system and pearl marble and hardwood flooring.

Attached to the home is a 966 square-foot three-car garage. Outside is a marble terrace, a resort-style infinity pool and spa and a composite boat dock with a 15K-pound lift.

The seller, represented by Stephen Kepler with Engel & Völkers Belleair, purchased the property in 2021 for $4.28 million. Jacob Gross with Charles Rutenberg Realty, Inc. was the buyer’s agent.

Tarpon Springs restaurant property for sale

A two-story restaurant asset at 310 E. Tarpon Avenue, Tarpon Springs has listed for sale for $1.6 million.

Built in 1920 as a 2,989-square-foot single family home, it was converted into a commercial building and renovated in 2019 and is currently operating as a smokehouse restaurant. Seating and bars are available both indoors and outdoors and the restaurant holds a full liquor license.

The 0.15-acre parcel of land is a short distance from the Tarpon Square shopping center, which is anchored by a Walmart Supercenter, Bealls Outlet and Staples. Other nearby retailers include Starbucks, Tropical Smoothie Café and a Chase Bank branch.

Zoned SAP, Special Area Plan, the property offers redevelopment opportunities or continuation as a restaurant operation.

The seller and restaurant owners purchased the property under the registered name Black & White Mill, LLC in 2019 for $514,000.

Kenneth City superstore sells

The sale of a one-story, 97,502-square-foot St. Petersburg retail property located at 4501 66th St. N. closed May 21 for $7.8 million.

Built as a K Mart in 1979 and remodeled in 2022, the center is occupied by national retailers Five Below and At Home, and shadow-anchored by Sprouts Farmers Market.

The 6.6-acre parcel of land is located at a signalized intersection in a high traffic area, with 795 feet of frontage on 46th Avenue and 657 feet on 66th Street N. It provides two exterior loading docks and 442 parking spaces.

Located nearby are multiple retailers, including Home Depot, Auto Zone and Harbor Freight.

The property was purchased by Granite Capital Investments, LLC, a privately held real estate investment firm located in Doral, Florida.

The seller, FUQUA BCDC Kenneth City Project Owner LLC, purchased the property, along with the adjacent Sprouts Farmers Market building, in 2021 for $6 million. Daniel Solomon and Jon Cashion with Katz & Associates Real Estate Advisors were the seller’s representatives.

Medical office property lists

A turnkey medical office, formerly occupied by Washburn Foot and Ankle Center, is now for sale with an asking price of $1.2 million. Located at 6711 38th Avenue N., St. Petersburg, the one-story structure, built in 1982, provides 2,000 square feet of rentable space.

Inside are four exam rooms, a private office, reception area, x-ray room, lab, a breakroom and three bathrooms. Outside are 15 parking spaces and monument signage.

Situated on a 0.28-acre lot, the property is convenient to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital, Northside Hospital and Bay Pines. A newly opened Publix supermarket is located one block away.

The building is available for immediate occupancy. The seller, Washburn Investment Properties, LLC, purchased the property in 2022 for $550,000. Jay Billings and Harrison Gault with Commercia Partners Realty are the seller’s agents.
