Places This Week: $6M Venetian Isles home hits the market

A weekly roundup of local real estate deals.
A 4,302 square feet, 4 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom Venetian Isles home has hit the market with an asking price of $6 million. The home, located on a cul-de-sac on Hawaii Ave NE, includes 135 feet of waterfront with sweeping views of Tampa Bay.
Renowned local architect William Harvard designed this newly-for-sale home in Driftwood. Harvard also designed the “Inverted Pyramid” St. Pete pier, and founded the still-hriving Harvard Jolly architecture firm. The 1949 home includes 4 beds, 4 baths and 122 feet of Big Bayou waterfront. The asking price is $3,500,000.
Another noteworthy new listing is all about energy efficiency. The Treasure Island home has 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms in 3,215 square feet with an asking price of $3,295,000. It won “Home Of The Year” from Florida Green Builders, and is completely sustained by solar power.
