Places This Week: A 5-acre equestrian estate for sale

Situated on 5.22 acres in the East Lake corridor of Tarpon Springs, a 4,292 heated square-foot main residence and a state-of-the-art barn at 3452 Forelock Rd., has listed for sale for $1.994 million.
A private gate and driveway lead to the one-story home featuring four bedrooms and four full bathrooms. Central Avenue office building for sale
A freestanding professional office building located at 6500 Central Ave., St. Petersburg has listed for $2.195 million.
The one-story, 4,622 heated square-foot structure was built in 1973 and sits on a 0.41-acre corner lot. It is currently configured to accommodate three tenants, but can be rearranged for two or as a solely occupied space.
Inside highlights include hardwood finishes, a lobby and conference room, private offices and a large amount of storage.

Historic Kenwood craftsman home sells
A restored craftsman bungalow located in the Historic Kenwood neighborhood of St. Petersburg closed June 4 for $895,000. First listed in April with an asking price of $915,000, an offer was made just six days later.
The property at 2121 Dartmouth Avenue N. was built 1925 and sits on a 0.18-acre parcel of land.
Through the screened-in porch entrance of the one-story main home is 1,004 square feet of living space. Inside is a light-filled living room with original hardwood floors, a wood-burning fireplace and high ceilings; a kitchen equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, quartzite countertops, a gas range and a large island; and two bedrooms with updated ensuite baths.
In the back of the house is a detached, 440 square-foot one-bedroom/one-bath unit that was remodeled in 2021. It includes a full kitchen and a washer and dryer.

Former mid-century Gulfport church lists
A 5,136 square-foot former community church built in 1955 is for sale in Gulfport for $575,000.
Inside the two-story structure at 901 49th Street S. are soaring ceilings above the main sanctuary that features a built-in baptismal pool. Off the main hall are two wings that were once used as daycare and educational facilities.
Classrooms and a built-out kitchen area are located in one wing; the second offers additional classrooms, men’s and women’s restrooms and a nursery. Due to expansion over the years, some original exterior brick facades now serve as interior walls. Upstairs are two large rooms which can be used as offices.
The 0.21-acre property is zoned Commercial General and provides many opportunities for use, including retail, professional or medical offices, a community center or a house of worship.

Florida’s first Wawa drive-thru property lists again
Following additional improvements made by the tenant prior to its occupancy in June 2024, Florida’s first Wawa drive-thru property (and third to ever be built) at 2530 E. Bay Drive, Largo is back on the market with an asking price of $2.9 million.
The 2,078 square-foot structure sits on a 0.91-acre parcel with 14 parking spaces. It is strategically situated fronting East Bay Drive with additional access from Keene Road.
Wawa Inc. holds a 10-year NNN lease which expires in June 2034. Following are six, five-year lease options with a seven-percent rent increase every five years.
The store offers drive-thru service and curbside pick-up only.

Bob’s Carpet & Flooring property sells
Property occupied by Bob’s Carpet & Flooring at 28365 US Highway 19 N., Clearwater closed June 2 for a consideration of $1.001 million.
The 9,280 square-foot structure was built in 1985 and sits on a 1.07-acre parcel of land. It was first occupied by Jesada Tools, and purchased by the seller, Dembs Development Inc., in 1991 for $700,000.
The Michigan corporation turned the space into a Bob’s Carpet & Flooring. One of its partners, Irving Nusbaum, was the former owner of New York Carpet World and appeared on the chain’s national television ads for decades. He died at his Franklin, Michigan home in 2018.
The purchaser, Eidi Properties with headquarters in Toledo, Ohio, is also the owner of a Bob’s Carpet & Flooring in Ocala, Florida.
