Places This Week: BayFirst National Bank properties sell
A weekly roundup of notable local real estate news.
Fortress Investment Group LLC, a New York City wealth advisory and investment firm, closed Jan. 3 on the sale of two BayFirst National Banks, under the registered name FNLR BFNB LLC. The consideration for each property was $7.5 million.
The first branch is located at 9190 Seminole Blvd., Seminole. It is a two-story, 13,330 gross square-foot structure built in 1980 and situated on a 1.59-acre parcel. The seller purchased this property in 2014 for $1.6 million.
The second building is a two-story, 15,002 gross square-foot structure located at 2520 Countryside Blvd., Clearwater. It was built in 1977, is situated on 1.55 acres of land and allows for 60 parking spaces. BayFirst National Bank purchased the property in 2018 for $2.5 million.
Tierra Verde $13 million estate lists
A waterfront Tuscan farmhouse located at 1571 Oceanview Dr., Tierra Verde, has hit the market with an asking price of $12.995 million. The single-family residence was built in 2001 by its owner, David Seldin, who served as President of the Jacksonville Jaguars franchise for its first four years.
Named Tre Sorell (“three sisters” in Italian), the three-story, 17,256 gross square-foot property provides seven bedrooms, eight full baths and three half baths. The exterior walls of the home are 18-20-inches thick, which includes a 10-12-inch layer of limestone quarried from the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani in the Apulia region of Italy. The roof is made with Ludowici terra cotta tile and comes with a 75-year warranty.
The 5,409 square-foot main level offers an open floor-plan with a living room, formal dining room, gourmet kitchen, two offices and a guest suite. Six bedrooms with ensuite baths, along with a library, are located on the 5,332 square-foot upper story. On the lower level is a four-car garage, a gym and additional storage. Outdoors is a heated salt-water pool, covered lounging and dining areas, a wood dock and a fire pit surrounded by a moat.
Highlights include soaring ceilings, Douglas fir beams and planks, solid mahogany doors, an elevator, hurricane-impact windows and doors and 191 feet of waterfrontage on the Gulf of Mexico.
The owner purchased the parcel in 1999 for $650,000. The listing agent is Robyn Gunn with Sotheby’s International Real Estate.
Three-story downtown St. Petersburg penthouse for sale
A 5,270 square-foot penthouse residence, which encompasses the top three floors of Signature Place, a 36-story condominium complex at 175 1st Street S., St. Petersburg, has listed for sale for $4.5 million.
Unit 3402 features 30-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including a built-in espresso machine, microwave and double wine refrigerator; quartz countertops; custom cabinetry; and a large island with space for seating. The primary suite is on the third floor and includes a spa-like bathroom with a garden tub, a custom-tiled shower and a L-shaped walk-in closet with built-in shelves. Beach Haven Villas sells to local hotel group
Beach Haven Villas, a seven-building vacation property with 18 living units, sold Jan. 6 for $6.12 million, approximately $375,000 below the asking price. The buyer is Kevin Bowden with Bowden Holdings, LLC, who also owns the Miramar Resort on St. Pete Beach and the Cambria Hotel on Madeira Beach.
Located at 4980 Gulf Blvd., St. Pete Beach, the 0.88-acre parcel provides 78 feet of waterfrontage directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Each of the one-story structures were built in 1949 and together total 6,677 square feet of living space. The largest, with 1,890 square feet, includes five of the original motel rooms with shower-only bathrooms and one 1-bedroom deluxe room with a patio. A 1,037 square-foot cottage is divided between one 1-bedroom unit and one 2-bedroom unit, and five 750 square-foot buildings each provide two 1-bedroom accommodations. On site are housekeeping and storage spaces, along with a rental office.
Outdoors is a heated Gulf-front pool, a beach-front gazebo and swing, gas grills and umbrella-covered seating. The property is zoned as LR (Large Resort) allowing for 50 units per acre.

Two commercial parcels list in Pinellas Park
Property occupied by SimonMed Imaging at 4800 Park Blvd., Pinellas Park, and a vacant office building on an adjacent lot at 4820 Park Blvd., have together listed for sale with an asking price of $6.5 million.
4800 Park Blvd. is a one-story, 8,082 square-foot structure built in 1971 and situated on a 0.85-acre plot of land. SimonMed Imaging, a medical diagnostic imaging provider with over 150 facilities across 10 states, holds a 20-year triple net lease which began in April 2007 and has three-percent increases annually. There are two five-year options remaining.
4820 Park Blvd., is a one-story office building constructed in 1955 with 12,484 heated square feet. It sits on a 0.58-acre plot of land allowing for 37 parking spaces. The building was formerly occupied by six tenants, with spaces ranging from 732 to 4,600 square feet.
The properties were purchased in 2008 by Dr. Dale Bramlet, a local orthopedic surgeon, under the registered name Mid-County I LLC $1.86 million.
Largo 60,000+ square-foot industrial space lists
A two-story, 62,445 heated square-foot office/warehouse property located at 7150 114th Ave., Largo has listed for an unpriced amount. The facility was built in 1988 and is situated on 5.03 acres of land in mid-Pinellas County.
The building is designed with 20,910 square feet of office space between the two floors, 15,495 square feet of open warehouse space on the main level and 26,040 square feet of industrial space upstairs.
Features include 10.7 to 11.3-foot ceiling heights, one dock well, one grade level loading door, 100-percent air-conditioned, 2,000+ amps of three-phase power, a sprinkler system, a freight elevator and over 200 parking spaces.
The property was last purchased by Bramante Investments LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company, in 2022 for $3.6 million and then donated to the First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks Campus, Inc. in July 2024.
