Clearwater Island Estates home sells

A 3,162 square-foot home, sitting on a nearly one-third acre lot in the Island Estates neighborhood of Clearwater, sold Jan. 5 for $3.53 million ― 1% above the list price.

Located at 471 Palm Island S.E., the home was built in 1968 and upgraded in 2021. It features 160 feet of open water views, four bedrooms, a bonus room, three bathrooms and a 2-car garage. A chef’s kitchen includes a six-burner gas cooktop, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and a dual zone wine cooler. The primary suite has a renovated bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, marble walls and flooring and as soaking tub. Three additional bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house.

The great room features a gas fireplace, remote solar shades and built-in shelving. On the other side of five sliding glass doors is a saltwater pool and spa surrounded by travertine pavers, an outdoor grill and bar, beverage refrigerator and an ice maker. Towards the water is a deep-water Azek composite dock and a covered boathouse with a 25k pound lift. The home last sold in 2019 for $1.58 million.

Granada Terrace home sells for $2.75 million

A Mediterranean style 3-bedroom, 5-bath home located at 315 23rd Avenue N.E. in Historic Old Northeast sold Dec. 29 for over $2.75 million. Built in 2005 and updated in 2023, the 3,110 square-foot home sits on a 5,702 square-foot lot with views of Granada Terrace Park and Coffee Pot Bayou.

The first level provides an open concept floor plan including a living room with fireplace, polished concrete floors, a dining area with an eat-in banquette, a white kitchen with marble countertops and archway ceilings throughout.

Up the winding staircase is the master bedroom with an ensuite bath with black marble tile, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. A private terrace with Saltillo tile and a Pecky Cyprus ceiling overlooks Tampa Bay. Two additional bedrooms with ensuite baths are located down the hall.

An outdoor courtyard features a cocktail pool, built-in barbeque, a half-bath and iron gates that lead to a two-car garage.

Sunset Beach home for sale

Sitting directly on a 50-foot beachfront lot on the southern tip of Treasure Island, this three-story 3-bedroom, 3.5-bath home, located at 8300 West Gulf Blvd., has listed for $3.65 million. The main residence encompasses the second and third floors, while the ground level provides storage sheds and parking for eight cars―four under cover and four in the driveway.

The home was built in 1940, with the third floor added in 2018.  On this floor is the primary suite with a large walk-in closet that doubles as a study, a bath with a step-in shower and separate soaking tub and a private balcony. Pinellas Park flex space sells to local animal rescue

A special purpose facility situated in the Bonnie Bay neighborhood of Pinellas Park was purchased by FLUFF Animal Rescue Inc. from FL Professional Funding LLC, and closed Dec. 29 for $2 million.

Located at 7400 62nd Terrace N, the property sits on a 2.3-acre lot and includes a 7,800 square-foot main building and a 1,300 square-foot warehouse. Inside the main building is an updated foyer leading to a congregation room, multiple large classroom or conference-style rooms, a commercial kitchen, two large restrooms with three stalls and a shower and two additional half-baths on the opposite side of the building. Outside is a large covered area and multiple recreational spaces.

FLUFF Animal Rescue currently operates a thrift store on Seminole Boulevard and will refer to the new property as the FLUFF Campus Communities, with plans to expand its operations and facilities. The organization’s new home will include an adoption center, vet clinic, a maternity ward and overnight emergency caregiver facilities. A “Catio” for cats to roam and play, a K-9 kennel for housing dogs and a Zen garden and memorial walking path for visitors and staff will also be part of the renovations.

A 2,768 square-foot commercial property located at

 in St. Petersburg, has listed for sale for $875,000. Sitting on a 21,497 square-foot lot, the property is currently being used for auto maintenance, outside storage and quick oil-changes.

With two vacant garages, the property is ideal for a mechanic or garage repair shop owner searching for a new or additional location. All of the inventory that is not the owner’s personal property transfers with the sale. A lift in the north garage is not included but can be negotiated into the deal if desired.
