As couples were swooning over heart-shaped gifts and romantic gestures on Tuesday, Valentine’s Day, Synapse was taking over Amalie Arena in Tampa to host its annual tech summit, bringing over 6,000 entrepreneurs and innovators under one roof.

The 2023 Synapse Summit drew 800 investors and venture capitalists, 300 exhibitors and 150 speakers. In total, the summit hosted over 40 panels that touched on the latest advancements in defense security, blockchain, artificial intelligence and environmental sustainability.

This year’s keynote speakers included Ally Love, a global Peloton instructor and entrepreneur; Steve Case, co-founder of AOL and chairman and CEO of Revolution; Cathie Wood, CEO and CIO of Ark Invest; and Phoebe Miles, co-founder of the Cade Museum for Creativity and Invention, and the daughter of the inventor of Gatorade.
