The Pinellas Education Foundation is proud to announce that Doug Bishop, CEO of Bouchard Insurance, has been appointed Chairman of the Pinellas Education Foundation for a two-year term as of July 1, 2018. Doug’s leadership and creative capabilities have proven valuable in branding Bouchard Insurance as the premier insurance agency in the Southeast. A Pinellas County native, Doug graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in 1989. He joined Bouchard in 1997 as a Commercial Lines Sales Executive after graduating from Florida State University. Before becoming CEO, he held several key positions in the organization: Workers’ Compensation Division Manager, Sarasota Division Manager, and Vice President of Sales. He is the third CEO for Bouchard Insurance since its inception in 1948. Under his leadership, the company has received numerous achievements: 2010 Gulf Coast Business Review “Top 40 Under 40” designation, 2012 A.M. Best Magazine top 10 Agencies That Get it Right, 2010 through 2017 Best Places to Work in Florida, Florida Trend Magazine, 2009-2018 Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces, and Independent Agent Magazine’s “Next Generation Role Model”. Doug currently holds the positions of Intersure Board Member (Past President), CEO Council of Tampa Bay Board Member ( Immediate Past Chair), and is a member of the Florida State University RMI Advisory Board and the Bank of Tampa Pinellas Advisory Board. Doug has been a member of the Pinellas Education Foundation’s Board of Directors since 2013. He has served in leadership roles on the Board including Treasurer and Vice Chair. Doug replaces Gary Regoli, President of Achieva Credit Union, who will remain on the Board of Directors.
