Assistant Market Head for UBS’s Gulf Coast Market
UBS Financial Services Inc. is proud to announce the promotion of Theresa Bursey as the first female Branch Manager of the St. Petersburg office, effective August 19, 2019.
In this new role, Bursey will serve as an advocate and partner to the Financial Advisors and support staff, delivering complete wealth management services to all clients. Bursey has been with the firm for 15 years and in her previous role, was the Assistant Market Head for UBS’s Gulf Coast Market. During that time, she created a culture where employees felt valued and were equipped to serve the needs of their clients and the community. She was also responsible for improving the growth strategy by connecting Financial Advisors with UBS resources and intellectual capital in order to meet the unique needs of their clients.

Bursey graduated from Montclair State University with a focus on management and marketing. Her previous role as Assistant Market Head has uniquely prepared her to attract and serve individuals of high net worth and ultra-high net worth. She also holds several industry licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), including Series 7, Series 66, Series 24, and Series 9 and 10.
