St. Pete tech consulting firm grows its talent bench

Morgan Hill Partners, a St. Petersburg consulting firm that works with growth-stage companies and financial sponsors, has added four operational partners.

The new partners bring expertise across multiple disciplines that will accelerate and drive innovation, Jim Barnish, managing partner of Morgan Hill, said in a news release. Using a unique methodology, dubbed operational engineering, the companies Morgan Hill works with will achieve success quickly and more frequently than the industry standard, he said.

The new operational partners are:

Tania Tawil

Tania Tawil, with over 23 years of launching and leading client-facing business units in operations ranging from mobile engagement marketing to cable television network distribution. She most recently was at Vibes, a Chicago-based mobile marketing firm that partnered with Syniverse in Tampa in 2016. Tawil launched and led mobile marketing strategy with Fortune 50 and 100 clients like The Home Depot, Polo Factory Stores, Hudson’s Bay Company, Pep Boys, CBS Radio, Entercom, VERSUS, NFL Network, Big Ten Network, the Chicago Blackhawks and the Chicago Bulls.

Matt Campbell

Matt Campbell, who has  23 years of commercial, public sector, healthcare and international enterprise sales and senior management experience in enterprise software solutions with Microsoft and Nortek. Campbell held several roles at Microsoft over nearly a dozen years, including launching Microsoft’s Americas Healthcare Enterprise Services organization and the U.S. Public Sector business for the Health Solutions Group.

Basit Hussein

Basit Hussein is a serial entrepreneur with more than 20 years in product planning, implementation, and high scale deployments. Hussain holds three patents awarded and multiple patents pending in the information security area. Hussain has served as an information security consultant for the Chicago Board of Options Exchange, Huntington Banks, Vanguard Mutual Funds, Cotiviti and CHW. He also formed and grew a venture-funded information security startup and founded a software consulting company, running it successfully for 15 years.

Pete Peterson

Pete Peterson is an entrepreneurial executive with more than 30 years of experience leading sales, marketing and operations personnel at the divisional and corporate level for several Fortune 500 and multi-national distribution companies. He was senior vice president for global business development and for U.S. sales during his 19 years at Tech Data in Clearwater. Most recently, he was president of Xerox channels.

Morgan Hill also added Zac Duffy as an associate partner, Barnish said.
