Featuring David Jenkins and Roxanne Fay, "Doubt: A Parable" will open at the Straz Center in January, 10 months behind schedule.

Coronavirus fears led to the David A. Straz Center announcing Friday morning that all performances at the venue’s many stages have been “suspended” through April 19.

All gone, for now: Jobsite Theatre’s Doubt: A Parable, Opera Tampa’s The Pirates of Penzance and the in-house production of Shout! The Mod Musical. Jersey Boys was set to open tonight.

A touring production of Miss Saigon, scheduled to open March 25, has also been canceled.

According to a press release, “Patrons should hold on to their tickets. We will reschedule as many events as possible. The Straz Center Ticket Sales Office will be in touch with ticket holders about refunds and other options soon.”
