Tampa’s David A. Straz Center for the Performing Arts will re-open Saturday, bringing back two stage shows that were interrupted by the approach of Hurricane Ian.

The Steve Martin-penned comedy Picasso at the Lapin Agile, produced by Jobsite Theatre in the Shimberg Playhouse, will have performances at 4 and 8 p.m. Saturday, and 4 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.

The production is then scheduled to resume Oct. 5-9.

Next door at the Jaeb Theatre, the Straz Center’s production of the musical comedy (with puppets) Avenue Q will be presented at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 and 6 p.m.

Avenue Q will end with an Oct. 5-9 run.

All tickets are at the Straz Center box office.

In St. Petersburg, the comedy Vino Veritas resumes at Studio Grand Central with performances at 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday. Tickets.
