Tampa Bay Wave and the St. Pete Catalyst are teaming up to promote entrepreneurial growth across Tampa Bay through a series of media initiatives. Starting with the latest TechDiversity cohort, the Catalyst will feature Wave Accelerator cohorts in the publication’s Hustle profile.
Through a combined video and written format, founders will share their stories in their own words, building bonds between the company and the Tampa Bay community. The Hustle profiles will be featured on the Catalyst homepage, and delivered to its subscriber base through the Daily Spark. Both groups will share the content through their social networks.
“Telling the stories of our companies is a key strategy for attracting companies, connections and capital to our region,” said Tampa Bay Wave Director of Communications Shane Needham. “The partnership with St. Pete Catalyst is an exciting opportunity to feature our entrepreneurs throughout their journey toward success. We are excited to see the impact of this collaboration.”
“This partnership will be successful in helping startups and advancing the mission of the Tampa Bay Wave, which is fantastic,” Catalyst publisher Joe Hamilton added. “For me, it is also a satisfying realization of our vision for the Catalyst as a platform for connecting the acumen of Tampa Bay. By sharing our stories, our experience and our insight, our community gets smarter and grows together.”
As a next project, the team is concepting an entrepreneurial-themed podcast, which will bring other startup-focused organizations into the fold.
