Seven tech companies in Tampa Bay Wave’s new post-accelerator cohort made their business case for a group of potential investors and customers Thursday night at The Verve Lounge.

Unlike the young startups that Wave most often helps build, launch and grow, these seven later-stage companies that have shown they can perform in the marketplace.

“These seven companies together have $13.5 million in their past 12 months of trailing revenue,” said Rich Heruska, interim accelerator director. “Collectively these seven companies have over 96 employees, about to crack 100 amongst them, and they’ve been in business an average of three and a half years.”

The presenters included Parkway Parking, which connects consumers with low-cost parking at airports, cruise ports and events and is projecting $8.5 million in 2018 revenue; MarTec360, which was just named a Top 10 Ecommerce Solution for 2018 by RetailCIO magazine; and iSocrates, a marketing/ad tech company led by Bill Lederer, a global C-level digital media and marketing services executive who has led some of the biggest companies in the industry.
