Tampa Bay Wave names companies in TechWomen Rising Accelerator

The TechWomen Rising cohort for fall 2021. Tampa Bay Wave.

The Tampa Bay Wave has named the 14 women-led startups for its fall 2021 TechWomen Rising Accelerator. 

The 90-day program, powered by JPMorgan Chase, is exclusively for women-led startups in Florida solving issues. 

The 15 companies in the TechWomen Rising accelerator program will receive a dedicated experienced mentor for one-on-one feedback with notable tech founders, pitch coaching, investment readiness programs and strategic introductions to investors and prospective customers, according to Tampa Bay Wave. 

TechWomen Rising companies will also participate in Wave’s Pitch Night, a public event to be held at Embarc Collective, which is planned to take place in early November. 

A demo day will follow the pitch night event.  

These are the 15 companies participating: 

Archslate: The Silicon Valley-based startup that connects employers and candidates in the architecture industry, and recently moved to Tampa. Archslate is an algorithm-based platform that connects architects seeking employment to employers and vice-versa. The St. Pete Catalyst recently interviewed Archslate Founder Vaishnavi More.

Advasys Inc.: The Sarasota-based startup Advasys develops technology that is meant to empower vulnerable individuals with a voice in their health and safety – to increase reporting, assist investigations, prevent further abuse and vastly improve their ability to receive timely and effective care.

ReifyResilience Inc.: The Dunedin-based startup addresses burnout for employers with digital health intervention specific to both the profession and the problem. 

Gamerabble: The Tampa-based startup Gamerabble connects gamers of all ages and skill levels with highly skilled coaches and personalized training. It uses a two-sided platform for consumers and freelancers to buy and sell esports and video game coaching services. 

Improving Aviation LLC: The Tampa-based startup develops solutions to enable the next generation of air transportation systems for government agencies and private organizations.  

BarnWiz LLC: This is a service web platform, founded in Virginia, that connects horse owners with horse service and product suppliers. 

C-Watch Corporation: Founded in Marion, Florida, it’s a platform that vets contractors, service providers and associates before hiring with access to real-time data to continuously monitor license and insurance.  

fayVen: A Tampa-based company that creates a dual-sided marketplace designed to maximize unused space at venues by booking mobile vendors and tapping into additional revenue streams. 

LexDock: The Tampa-based startup offers a legal concierge platform that features a cloud-based subscription software solution where businesses and organizations can conduct all of their legal affairs in one secure location. 

RareGuru LLC: A mobile app, founded in Tampa, that connects those living with a rare disease to foster support, hope and healing together. Users match based on diagnosis, location, symptoms and age.

SEED Classroom: A Tampa-based startup that automates the attendance taking and hall pass request processes in school. 

Shamrck: Shamrck is an AI-powered career exploration platform, founded in the St. Pete area, that helps schools create better careers and technical education programs.

Shufflrr: Founded in Tampa, the platform is a presentation management solution. 

Trendful: The platform, founded in Tampa, features tools for resale business needs to start, run and scale. 

Champion Lender Inc.: An Orlando-based fintech startup that created an app that reduces the rate of denial in underwriting for potential homeowners.
