FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Safety Harbor, FL — Tampa-based performer and writer Mandy Keen brings her breakout solo show Maggie to the Safety Harbor Art & Music Center (SHAMc) for one night only on Saturday, November 15 at 7:30 PM.

A coming-of-bug tale about a fly in a landfill trying to molt into something human, Maggie is weird. It’s raw. It’s unexpectedly emotional. There’s no fourth wall.

Packed with physical comedy and audience interaction, Maggie follows a half-fly, half-woman clawing her way out of the trash and into a world she’s unprepared to face. Absurd, messy, and strangely heartfelt, the show is a love letter to anyone who’s ever been underestimated or thrown away.

Written, directed, and performed by Mandy Keen, Maggie premiered to standing ovations at The Commodore in Ybor City, with audiences calling it “inventive, funny, and poignant,” “hilarious, weird, touching,” “incredible,” “adventurous,” and “10/10 comedy.”
