AI Assurance & Governance Summit 2026 to be Held Oct. 1 / One-day executive summit at Stanford University to bring together frontier labs, regulators, insurers and investors to define the assurance layer for trustworthy AI
Registration is open now for the TrustModel.ai AI Assurance & Governance Summit 2026, a one-day executive summit on Thursday, Oct. 1, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Stanford Faculty Club in Palo Alto, California.
TrustModel.ai, an independent trust standard for AI systems, is holding the summit that is attracting AI labs, regulators, Fortune 500 leaders, insurers and investors to address the defining risk of the decade: the widening gap between how fast AI systems are being deployed and the industry’s ability to assess, verify, govern and certify their trustworthiness both prior to and during deployment.
The single-track program will feature:
• Keynotes and fireside chats with leaders from frontier AI labs on where assurance and governance are headed next
• Industry panels with leaders from regulated sectors including financial services, insurance, healthcare and government on the practical realities of AI compliance
• A research showcase featuring original work on AI assurance, evaluation, safety and policy, presented to regulators, capital and researchers
• Live, hands-on labs where attendees can evaluate AI systems against real-world compliance and risk frameworks, followed by a closing reception
• Among the many impressive panel leaders are Ben Horowitz, co-founder and general partner of a16z, and John Chambers, founder and CEO of JC2 Ventures
“It’s imperative to act now. AI assurance must become a mandatory infrastructure layer that guarantees trustworthiness before policymakers catch up. It’s that important,” said Karl Mehta, TrustModel.ai founder and CEO.
The summit is intended for executives and practitioners in AI risk, compliance, safety and governance roles across frontier labs, regulated industries, insurance and capital. Space is limited. Registration and full agenda are available at trustmodel.ai/summit2026.
